The Ypsilanti Senior / Community Center provides opportunities for positive, safe, and structured recreational, educational and networking activities targeted towards seniors. The Center is also used by many different neighborhood and community groups, and provides a place for friendship, socializing, health and wellness, and education. It has become a home away from home for many Ypsilanti residents.
Make a gift in any amount - help us reach our 50th birthday this year! Make checks payable to Ypsi Senior Center and mail or drop off at the Center, or donate online, through our secure link via PayPal. (Processing fees are covered by a generous donor -- every dollar of your gift goes directly to the Center.) The large gathering room is flooded with light from windows on all three sides. Looking out the east windows you’ll see the rose garden, a patio and a view of the Rutherford community pool. The patio is used for the neighborhood ice cream socials, receptions, and a gathering place to admire the volunteer-supported rose garden. The south view is of the ball diamonds, community garden, and the park’s open green area, with a playground, picnic shelter and ample free parking to the west.
